The Company supports nearly every country in the world acquiring complex data link systems and 95% of our customers are Public Sector acquisition, research and operational agencies. Our main defence clients in the UK include: the Ministry of Defence (MOD) with Customers ranging from Directors of Equipment Capability through Defence Procurement Agency and Defence Logistics Organisation Integrated Project Teams to operational Headquarters; and the Defence Scientific and Technical Laboratories (DSTL). In the International forum, we support: the US Department of Defense and all the US single services (Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps); the defence ministries of other countries such as Australia, Italy, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, Oman and the Netherlands; and various organisations within NATO. In the Transport arena, we support Air Traffic Management agencies such as EUROCONTROL, the Civil Aviation Authority and National Air Traffic Services The Meteorological Office, Emergency Services such as Her Majesty’s Fire Service Inspectorate, various Fire and Rescue Services, Police Forces and the NHS are among our Customers operating in central and local government agencies. In the commercial sector we provide support (often at the request of the ultimate public sector Customer) to international aerospace defence companies such as BAE Systems, Thales, Embraer, AEI, Northrop Grumman and Boeing. Founded in 1987, LMUK IS&S has a permanent staff of more than 200 and an annual turnover in excess of £17M, of which 62% is represented by exports; 60% of our business is within the defence sector. STASYS was purchased by Lockheed Martin Corporation in February 2005 and is now known as Lockheed Martin UK Integrated Systems & Solutions Limited, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin UK Holdings Limited. With its Head Office located in Farnham (Surrey), LMUK IS&S has other offices in the UK at Farnborough (Hampshire), Lincoln (Lincolnshire) and Malvern (Worcestershire). LMUK IS&S has recently been developing abroad, establishing a first office in Rheinbach, near Bonn, with other offices envisaged elsewhere throughout Europe. We have opened offices in the prestigious "golden triangle" business centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and in Sydney, Australia.
